XJet to showcase expanded range of AM application possibilities at RAPID + TCT 2019

Visitors to RAPID + TCT 2019 will be exposed to remarkable applications on booth 1103 this year, made possible by XJet Ltd. Inviting participants to get ‘hands-on’, XJet has an on-booth ‘support removal clinic’ where visitors are encouraged to witness the speed and ease of XJet’s acclaimed soluble support material removal by performing the process first-hand.

In addition, XJet will focus on its ongoing commitment to service the US market at the exhibition. With installations in three states across the USA, further orders signed, and the establishment of local customer support; XJet COO Udi Bloch, Vice President HR Ili Ramon, and the customer support leading team will attend RAPID + TCT, looking to ramp up XJet’s commitment further.

“XJet is all about pushing the boundaries of what is achievable with additive manufacturing technology, and at RAPID + TCT we have some fantastic demonstrations of this. This year our participation is about showing the US market what NanoParticle Jetting technology can do for the first time in ceramic and metal AM,” says XJet CBO Dror Danai. “Visitors are invited to remove the soluble support material from a metal part themselves. They can also see how the unprecedented NPJ technology enables applications that have, up-to-now, not been possible.”

Complete geometric freedom has been long-promised by the AM industry, but limitations still exist. The applications XJet is unveiling are now possible thanks to the technology’s ability to truly make ultra-fine features and complex geometries. This, coupled with virtually 100 percent density and some other properties, makes XJet technology and systems uniquely able to execute these applications.

XJet will furthermore showcase a demonstration part, illustrating the company’s vision of the future for NanoParticle Jetting technology hinting at the limitless possibilities that additive manufacturing could tap into. The new parts can be seen in a presentation on Wednesday, May 22nd at 11am in the Grand Ballroom at RAPID + TCT.

Danai comments, “The recently inaugurated AM Centre is allowing us to invest more in R&D in general, and in material and application development, consequently we’re innovating faster than ever before. We’re extremely excited to unveil our latest developments to the US AM community and discuss how they can be used to improve designs, processes and profits.”
