CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE 2015 BEST WORKPLACE IN THE AMERICAS COMPETITION

Printing Industries of America's 2015 Best Workplace in the Americas (BWA) Competition is now underway and accepting entries. This program is the graphic communication industry's only human resources program recognizing companies committed to their workforce through sound human relations practices.

Distinguished HR experts evaluate each organization's success in eight key areas, including management practices, work environment, and training and development. Those with the highest score receive the coveted title of Best of the Best in the BWA competition.

"Winning the Best Workplace in the Americas award is an incredible honor. Our company takes great pride in developing and implementing the important qualities our employees value, from providing an innovative, safe work environment to a strong work-life balance," said 2013 Best of the Best Small Companies Winner Michael Stanley of Elk Grove Graphics.

Many recipients leverage their win to promote to job seekers and instill a stronger sense of pride in their employees. Winners are recognized throughout the industry as superior companies through promotional benefits including the following:

National and local media promotion
Logo provided to display on websites and promotional materials
Increased employee recruiting and retention
A custom plaque commemorating the achievement

"As a recipient of the Best Workplace of the Americas, Smyth has a rich history of empowering their employees and providing a safe, productive work environment," said 2014 Best of the Best Large Companies/Multi-plants Winner Scott Fisher of Smyth Companies, LLC. "We are honored to be recognized with such a prestigious award that acknowledges Smyth's efforts related to improving the 'quality of life' for our employees."
