DOUBLE APPOINTMENT STRENGTHENS LINX CUSTOMER COMMITMENT

Linx Printing Technologies has announced two new appointments, reinforcing its commitment to a customer-led product portfolio.

Steve Cheek joins as Director of Product Planning, while Matt Eastham becomes Product Manager for Laser.

Both will be based at Linx's headquarters in St Ives, Cambs, but with a strong remit to visit customers and distributor partners.

Steve has a vast amount of experience within the Danaher group, joining Linx following 11 years as General Manager of the Fluke China R&D and Planning teams. Additionally, he has held the role of General Manager for the Danaher Development Centre in Shanghai since 2006.

He says: "This is an exciting opportunity to build on Linx's trusted portfolio of products. Future product directions will reflect both the Voice of Customer and, crucially, the innovative ideas already here at Linx.

Matt brings a wealth of experience in product management, business development and sales with a proven track record of growth in new product categories.

He comments: "Linx SL coders are reliable in even the most demanding factory environments, and service intervals are typically twice those of the industry standard.

"They don't need expensive factory air for cooling, unlike some other laser coders, which helps to further reduce your coding costs."

Steve has moved to Cambridgeshire with his wife and two daughters. Matt lives in Northamptonshire and lists his interests as golf, running and other outdoor pursuits.
