Thanks to the support of the municipal government, Jinan’s printing industry has seen rapid growth in recent years. This is especially true in packaging printing, where business has been brisk and quality products are much in demand.

Perfect timing and good preparation enabled Jinan Yuanda Color printing and Packaging Co., Ltd. to ride this bandwagon and develop into the leading packaging printer in Jinan. To consolidate its gains and keep up with the pace of its growing business, Jinan Yuanda entered into a partnership with Manroland Sheetfed for the first time, it purchased a press it can rely on: a brand-new six-color ROLAND 700 with coating module 3B plus format.

Founded in 2000, Jinan Yuanda specializes in attractive packaging boxes, gift boxes, hand bags, calendars, books and albums. Apart from having a modern, 36,000-square meter facility and first-class equipment, the company boasts of solid technical strength and practices modern management methods.

Jinan Yuanda produces more than 500,000 color boxes a day.

The company has won recognition from both the customers and the printing industry for its high-quality products and services. Jinan Yuanda has also been rated as an “advanced unit of the provincial and municipal packaging printing industries” and “advanced unit of integrity”. The company has fostered good partnerships with many well-known domestic enterprises.

"From the time our company was established, we have earned the trust and support of the customers and have become an important force in the Jinan printing industry,'' said Mr. Liu Qisheng, Jinan Yuanda‘s Managing Director. "That's because we are always customer-oriented and we subscribe to the principle of ‘quality for survival, management for efficiency, credibility for development’.”

In today's world of highly developed technologies, Jinan Yuanda are happy to pursue their goals by “proceeding with the times and innovations”.

The ROLAND 706 LV 3B plus format is among those innovations that can help packaging printers immeasurably.

As the world's best-selling sheetfed offset model, ROLAND 700 is unbeatable in print quality and printing speed.

In terms of higher productivity and shorter lead time, especially for the packaging printers, the ROLAND 706 LV 3B plus format brings a little extra.

Everybody knows that the sheet size of 3B format is 1040 mm x 740 mm, while the size of the 3B plus format is 1050 mm x 780 mm. That is only a difference of 10 mm in length and 40 mm in width. However, it is just this small increase in size that creates the big magic for the 3B plus format. That's because the productivity of one run can be increased by as much as 50% depending on the kind of print job. The reason for this lies in the way of imposition. Theoretically, a print job is allowed to print only one page on one sheet because of the size. However, if the sheet size is 40mm wider, two pages can be done on one sheet. Thus, its productivity and the yields of the substrates can be increased by 100 percent. More importantly, it saves the material cost and time, and further improves overall productivity.

"With 3B plus format, we are able to print more images on the same sheet,'' Mr. Liu said. "In this way, we can save more production time and print materials, increase our productivity, and further shorten the lead time.''

With leading technology and a full range of high-quality services, Jinan Yuanda will continue to grab good opportunities and maintain its status as the brightest star in the Jinan packaging printing industry.
