Ricoh Europe is helping customers to further improve the quality of their printed documents with its newly upgraded Ricoh Pro-Office paper range. The new range has been created for everyday printing to maximise the efficiency and performance of Ricoh printers and copiers. Each media delivers consistent print quality and excellent performance, whether printing duplex, black and white, colour or at high speed. In addition, the Ricoh papers absorb less humidity from the environment, which further enhances print quality and feed performance.
The Pro-Office media is available in sizes A4 and A3. The range includes:
Pro-Office Premium: 80gsm, extreme whiteness, strong opacity, thickness and stiffness. Ideal for colour printing of charts and graphical elements.
Pro-Office Standard: 80gsm, excellent whiteness and stiffness for multifunctional usage for both colour and black and white printing.
Pro-Office Economy: 80gsm, strong whiteness for high volume printing and copying of black and white documents.
Pro-Office Light: 75gsm, a lighter paper for everyday printing. Offers the same high quality as heavier 80gsm paper and has a lower environmental impact.
Regular testing for assured quality

Environmental sustainability
Pro-Office media is produced from sustainable sources to comply with Ricoh's stringent environmental requirements. Now FSC as well as PEFC accredited, it is manufactured by mills that use materials sourced from sustainably managed forests, have a low carbon footprint and hold ISO 14001 (1996) and EU Eco-Label (2009). In addition, the Pro-Office line carries the European Union Eco-Label. This designation helps identify products and services that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw material through to production, use and disposal. Recognised throughout Europe, EU Eco-Label is a voluntary label promoting environmental excellence which can be trusted.
An interactive future for Ricoh paper
In the future, the striking new packaging designs will carry Ricoh's Clickable Paper™ logo on all size reams. Clients will soon be able to scan the Pro-Office logo using their tablet device or smartphone, and be given a range of options including ordering new stock online and watching video material with innovative application recommendations.
