Media for industrial printing processes

Neschen shows what innovative coatings can do for industrial printing applications

As a founding member of the new trade fair InPrint (Hanover, 8 to 10 April), Neschen AG was instrumental in its concept and launch. The focus is on modern printing technology in the field of industrial production. In Hall 21, Stand A05, the coating specialist will be demonstrating what industrial applications are possible with Neschen media.

"We see the InPrint 2014 as a significant step forwards in our efforts to open up new business areas for printing technology in growth and other markets," said Lars Woltermann, Head of Corporate Marketing at Neschen AG in Bückeburg. "We look forward to taking part in the trade fair!"

Neschen AG wishes to benefit from classic products that are suitable for industrial processes due to the large volumes involved. For example, roll-up display media, each in the same size but with different motifs that run through a printer particularly set up for the purpose. They then receive the corresponding protective laminate in a completely automated process. Print service providers with high production runs then receive the Neschen media in the roll sizes necessary.

Such an industrial application is also possible for wallpaper material such as the Oeko-Tex certified Erfurt wallpaper or the easy dot digital print films. Thanks to Neschen's dot technology, the printed self-adhesive films can be easily applied to give a bubble-free finish and can be removed again without leaving any residue. They are therefore ideally suited for short-term use as identification labels on tyres or on washing machines.

Another example is the printing of fitted kitchens, furniture fronts, doors, tables or floor coverings with individual designs. Neschen can also deliver information signs for use in aircraft construction - equipped with the special industry specifications for this industry. The self-adhesive signs can withstand the rapidly changing hot and cold temperatures without any problem.

Single-parse industrial plants with fixed printheads and a printing speed of up to five metres a second also require special films. Neschen also supplies suitable media for these special industrial printing systems. They are ideal for high printing speeds and are available in the required roll dimensions.

At the InPrint in Hanover from 8 to 10 April, more than 100 exhibitors from the decorative and functional printing sector present highly-developed printing applications to make the manufacturing process more efficient and more flexible and to optimise productivity. As a media manufacturer and coating specialist, Neschen AG is represented at the fair in Hall 21, Stand A05.
