The energy on the trade show floor was phenomenal. Attendees at Labelexpo Americas 2014, held September 9-11 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., were excited about new, innovative technology in the Screen USA booth. We drew crowds of quality-conscious print service providers from all over the United States for the in-booth demonstrations.
That Screen continues to sharpen our focus on digital imaging and printing technology was abundantly evident. At center stage, the Truepress Jet L350UV did not disappoint. The award-winning UV inkjet label press drove high, steady booth traffic. Demonstrations emphasized the Truepress Jet L350UV's ability to rapidly deliver high-resolution labels with smooth and consistent color printing on various label media.
Labelexpo also marked the debut of Screen's JetConverter L350. The new digital label finishing line enables users of the Truepress Jet L350UV to create a total inline solution for label printing from data input to finishing.
One-pass flexo presses that produce high-end printing have boosted demand for platemaking systems capable of both high quality and high resolution. Another standout from the show was Screen's PlateRite FX870II digital imaging system for flexo and letterpress plates.
