Trojanlabel Uses Memjet Inkjet Technology to Drive Innovation

New OEM development system on display at drupa 2016 enables partners to quickly integrate solutions for high-quality printing on a range of thicker materials

Memjet and Trojanlabel, a Denmark-based developer of affordable, cutting-edge digital printing solutions, announce that Trojanlabel has incorporated Memjet’s patented inkjet technology into their TrojanThree overprinter solution for OEMs, and has expanded the finishing options for their innovative TrojanTwo mini digital label press. Both of these solutions will be on display at the Trojanlabel stand (Hall 3, Booth 3B31) at drupa 2016, taking place May 31–June 10 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Mikkel Wichmann, managing director at Trojanlabel, says, “We have a reputation for developing and implementing innovative solutions that stay one step ahead of what the market requires. Memjet printing technology helps us to maintain that reputation. These printheads produce the speed, ease of use, and low cost of ownership needed for our products. As a result, we have two strong solutions to show at drupa–and to service the needs of the industry.”

Revolutionizing Production

At drupa, Trojanlabel will present two Memjet-powered solutions:

Introducing TrojanThree

The TrojanThree overprinter allows OEMs and integrators to quickly create their own Memjet-powered final products, including envelopes, card stock, corrugated packaging, bubble pack, folding cartons, and thicker media such as wood.

Previously, this type of printing had been difficult to accomplish and expensive to produce in short-runs. TrojanThree solves those challenges by providing an advanced overprinter that can be easily configured with a transport system and fine-tuned for different media types and market segments. By optimizing the TrojanThree, OEM’s and integrators can open up a wide-range of business opportunities and provide new value for their clients.
