HEAT SHRINK SLEEVES: Learn from the experts at 'hands-on' AWA workshop

A knowledge of the technical aspects of heat shrink sleeve label technologies is becoming an essential qualification for most professionals working in the broad packaging industry – either as a brand owner or as a converter. AWA Alexander Watson Associates are once again holding two 'hands-on' two-day sleeve label workshops this year -- designed to provide an all-round essential briefing.

The Introduction to Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies Workshops will this year take place June 24-25, and June 26-27, in Plymouth, MN, USA.

Supported by leading industry participants Accraply Inc, Bonset America, Dunwoody College of Technology Esko, Flint Group, and Polysack Flexible Packaging, the workshops will match theory with practical demonstrations, as well as a 'cures and remedies' discussion between workshop participants and the experts. A key feature is the 'on site' location of the workshops: at the Flint Group facility on day one, and the Accraply facility on day two – both of them located in Plymouth, MN. In response to market requests, the second workshop will be presented in simultaneous translation in Spanish.

'Space is limited!'

Program leader Dr William Llewellyn, Vice President and Senior Consultant, AWA Alexander Watson Associates, underlines its practical nature. 'With the significant support and participation of leading international companies in this new technology arena, we have been able to create a very special opportunity for anyone who needs or wants to gain a sound education in heat shrink sleeves to benefit from this event – but space is limited!'

All-round event

Participants will take away a printed manual, featuring all the presentations and other useful information for future reference; and, as well as providing a full two-day learning agenda, the event is an opportunity for peer networking and extending personal contacts across the industry.

Reduced 'earlybird' registration fee

There is a special reduced 'earlybird' registration fee available for Introduction to Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies Workshop, so interested parties should apply as soon as possible via the AWA website.
