Mimaki to present its continually growing portfolio at Viscom Düsseldorf 2015

New opportunities for the graphics, industry and textile sectors remove creative boundaries

At Viscom Düsseldorf 2015, Mimaki, a leading manufacturer of large format inkjet printers, will be featuring the future of sign and display graphics, large format, textile and industrial printing for increased versatility and more effective development and production within these segments. The company will be exhibiting in Hall 8b on Stand J31 at the trade show taking place from 4 – 6 November 2015 in Düsseldorf.

"Viscom presents an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate the opportunities our continually growing range of solutions brings to the market," says Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe. "We want to support committed companies in improving their service offerings and expanding into a wider range of applications for improved profitability and new revenue streams. The focus of the show stand will be on new and updated products that offer our customers more business opportunities than ever before. Naturally, we also want to demonstrate and display our tried and tested systems and share with visitors how these have helped other companies acquire new markets."

Industrial, textiles, graphics: The industry's broadest portfolio

Mimaki will be exhibiting its extensive selection of technologies, inks and special colours in the graphics sector. In addition to printing and cutting systems, visitors will be able to familiarise themselves with the complete range of solvent-based and UV ink sets. These allow Mimaki users to set themselves apart from the competition with striking signs and displays that can be produced on a variety of different media. The printing systems that will be on display in the Mimaki stand include the CJV-150 and the popular CJV-300 integrated printing/cutting combinations for solvent-based inks, recognized by the European Digital Press Association (EDP) at this year's FESPA as the best Print&Cut solutions, as well as the JV300 and JV400 SUV that set new standards by combining the flexibility of solvent printing with the durability of UV inks.

In the industrial sector of the trade show stand, the company answers the question as to why a UV printer from Mimaki is the best market investment. The unique Kebab option from Mimaki that facilitates 360 degree-printing on cylindrical products will be demonstrated on the UJF-6042 printing system, with metallic effects and other special finishing techniques being demonstrated live. The JFX200 UV-LED printing system will encourage visitors to think about how they might also be able to enter new markets using clear varnish and primer. The unmatched matt white ink from Mimaki will be demonstrated on the JFX500 printing at breakneck speed. Also on display will be the powerful UJV500-160UV-LED roller printer with its unique UV inks that offer exceptional weather-resistance for outdoor use.

Another highlight at the show will be the brand new UJF-7151 plus, the best digital on-demand industrial small format printing solution for the screen printing industry. The solution has a maximum printable size of 710 x 510 mm (28 x 20in) and it improves accuracy, consistency and reliability by modifying the mechanical structure of the print table. It ensures high quality printing and top level productivity with ultra-accurate ink droplet placement. Fine lines, edges, and small texts are displayed crystal clear. The solution also enables double-layer printing and colour printing on a white base layer.

For textile printing, a wide range of solutions will be presented that enables sublimation printing on polyester, a current trend with good profit opportunities. The products range from entry-level solution JV150 that uses powerful ink types to foster creativity and versatility, to the TS500-1800, the fastest large-format inkjet colour sublimation printer in its class. In addition, the TS300P-1800 impresses, processing very thin paper at high speeds and delivering brilliant sublimation printing.

In many Mimaki systems, the affordable and advanced sublimation inks SB53 and SB300 from Mimaki are used to ensure a competitive price for a powerful, high-density printed image. These inks received OEKO-TEX®- certification this year for direct skin contact.

"The Mimaki Germany Team is delighted to present all these options to its customers and to visitors to the Mimaki stand ," Horsten adds. "Mimaki is dedicated to offering solutions that help customers expand their offerings, and go beyond previous limits to unleash creativity and increase profits!"
