Epson Wins 2014 SGIA Product of the Year Award

Epson SureColor T7270 Awarded in the Aqueous Printers under 96-Inches Category

Epson America today announced the SureColor® T7270 44-inch color printer has earned the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Product of the Year award within the Roll-to-Roll Aqueous category at this year's SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, Nev. The competition recognizes the latest equipment and supplies currently on the market that are advancing the specialty imaging industry.

"The Product of the Year Award Competition showcases the best printers, technologies and consumables from the specialty imaging community," said Ray Weiss, SGIA's Digital Imaging Specialist. "Whether they were a seasoned company or an industry newcomer, each and every entry came to win, and they gave the judges a real run for their money."

Sixty-eight companies from all over the globe submitted to the competition, entering 139 products in 25 categories. Each product was judged during the 2014 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, Oct. 22–24) and displayed in the Golden Image Gallery on the Expo floor.

Available in both single- and dual-roll models, Epson's SureColor T-Series printers deliver extreme line accuracy with resolutions up to 2880 x 1440 dpi at incredibly fast speeds. In addition, the SureColor T-Series 36- and 44-inch printer models offer an optional multifunction (MFP) module, enabling PC-free full color copy and scan capabilities – up to 36-inches wide – at best-in-class speeds for added convenience.
