Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that it will showcase its latest large format print solutions, which are specially featured for the display and signage market, at booth #2702 during the 2014 ISA International Sign Expo. The event will convene at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, April 24 - 26, 2014.

Large Format Solutions for Quality Color Signage
Signage industry professionals demand high-quality tools that can produce superior display applications, which in turn enable them to visually communicate with their customers. During the expo, Canon Solutions America will highlight several of its latest offerings in flexible, large format printing solutions. This includes the Océ Arizona® Series flatbed printer models, which combine true flatbed printer design and versatility at an affordable price; as well as the innovative Océ ColorWave® 650 Poster Printer and the Océ ColorWave 900 Printer. The Océ Arizona Series features Océ VariaDot® imaging technology, which delivers near-photographic image quality, even at high print speeds. Print providers can expand their range of offerings with the ability to produce a wide range of applications, including outdoor point-of-purchase signage, second surface backlit displays, exhibit displays, architectural and directional signage and event signage. For greater flexibility, Océ Arizona Series printers can be combined with the Zünd digital flatbed cutters, which are also available from Canon Solutions America.
Attendees can also view the Océ ColorWave 650 Poster Printer and Océ ColorWave 900 at the Canon Solutions America booth. The Océ ColorWave 650 Poster Printer's innovative Océ CrystalPoint® technology delivers up to 1,200 square feet of instantly-dry, water-resistant prints per hour. In addition, the Océ ColorWave 650 Poster Printer allows users to print full gamut color on inexpensive uncoated bond media. For high volume production, the Océ ColorWave 900 closes the gap between digital inkjet and traditional offset technology, offering a digital workflow which can produce more than 6,000 square feet of display graphics per hour. Both of these Océ ColorWave printers integrate a paper handling system which includes capacity for up to 6 rolls of media and robust stacking capabilities. Plus, ONYX® Thrive™ print workflow software can be paired with the printers to meet even the most demanding color requirements.
Also on display will be the extremely versatile 44" Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400S printer, which is ideal for printers who need quality large format output and maximum productivity. Specially designed for the commercial photography, signage display, reprographic, and proofing markets, the Canon iPF8400S printer delivers consistently superb results while increasing overall production. A large color spectrum is produced by the 8-Color LUCIA EX pigment ink set, which also provides scratch resistance and smooth gradations. To expand printing options and capabilities, the iPF8400S printer comes bundled with Canon's PosterArtist Lite software for easy poster creation, and an Accounting Manager tool that helps keep track of job cost.
