The development of the Moroccan market. According to VDMA-the German Engineering Association, Moroccan imports of plastics technology amounted to 52.8 million US Dollar in 2013 after 65.3 million US Dollar in 2012. Imports of packaging machinery stood firm at 96.0 million US $ in 2013 after 93.2 million in 2012.

GTAI-Germany Trade & Invest points out that Moroccan imports of plastics in primary forms amounted to 985 million US$ in 2012 after 974 million in 2011.

Due to the Moroccan ministry of industry, trade and new technologies, the Moroccan plastics industry counts for 14,000 employees, produces a turnover of around 818 million Euro and covers around 60% of the demand. 38% of turnover is generated with packaging material, 14% with agriculture, 14% with the building industry and 10% with technical equipment.

Top governmental support. The event is organised with the official support of the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade and New Technologies and of Maroc Export - Moroccan State Agency for Export Promotion.

Excellent visitor base. A total of 2,855 professional visitors from 31 countries had been registered with an impressive share of 80% decision makers.

Top quality exhibitors. 150 exhibitors from 19 countries (2013), +9.5% compared to 2011.

The plast print pack industry portal. More than 7,600 visitors are registered in the plast print pack industry portal. The portal allows exhibitors and visitors to connect before, during and after the event.

High satisfaction rate. 88% of the exhibitors would recommend the event.
