New Brand Identity for SAUERESSIG

SAUERESSIG is bringing its brand and visual identity to the next level, underpinning its role as global player in the rotogravure market.

SAUERESSIG, headquartered in Vreden, Germany, is a world leading supplier of printing and embossing tools, design and prepress services and special machinery. Since 2010, SAUERESSIG is part of Matthews International Corporation. Especially the Brand Performance division of Matthews International, which SAUERESSIG is part of, shows continuous growth, amongst other thanks to the acquisition of SCHAWK! in 2014.

To pave the way for the further development of the Brand Performance division, all rotogravure brands of Matthews International are part of the SAUERESSIG group with effect of October 1st, 2015. This means that SAUERESSIG is now operating from ten locations worldwide. As part of this development, SAUERESSIG gets a new corporate identity that positions the company as innovative, solution-oriented, knowledgeable and reliable across all business divisions, regions and communication touch points.

The new logo combines the name, product and service characteristics of SAUERESSIG. The single letter S logo is in clear reference to the company name, the negative space indicates a cylinder and thus the core product of the company and the open and simple design goes hand in hand with SAUERESSIG's value proposition that includes full service and customer proximity. The new colors of blue and grey reflect dynamic, reliability and strength. All together, the new corporate design builds the basis for modern identity management – visually and in content, internally and externally, to customers as well as to employees or society as a whole.

SAUERESSIG's values are firm components of all locations' company cultures, characterized by stable processes and extensive investments into new product development. Further investments into growing markets such as Russia and Nigeria ensures a solid basis for future growth.
