Charities benefit from SoapBox approach

Taking an everyday product and applying some real meaning to its existence, SoapBox is the brainchild of David Simnick and Daniel Doll. After experience working on aid projects in the developing world, the founders decided to produce a product to raise the much needed charitable funds to supply clean water, vitamins, and bars of soap to those most in need. Water-borne diseases are rife in Africa and the introduction of soap to help mitigate the spread and potential of disease better than washing in water alone.

Their mission - to empower customers with the ability to change the world through everyday purchases.

The range of soaps that will initially be retailed through Target stores have been produced by SoapBox Soaps with the packaging supplied and labelled by M&H Plastics (part of the RPC Group) in Virginia. The 11 Fl.oz. bottles show a striking wood-grain finish and an embossed logo. SoapBox soap will initially be available in four fragrances; Lavender, Citrus Lemon, Pomegranate and Black Sea, which harvests the natural cleaning abilities of activated charcoal. At launch SoapBox will also be releasing bars of soap to local charities so that every SoapBox product bought will also benefit the local community.

Daniel Doll, President & COO of SoapBox said, "This product is the culmination of many years work across communities both here and abroad. We're delighted to offer a product where consumers will know that their purchase will benefit those in need, locally and abroad, through our soap=hope campaign. It was a pleasure to work with M&H Plastics to produce these items and I'm delighted by their quality and practicality."
