IMA Industries
The companies and divisions part of IMA Industries, the non-pharmaceutical sector of the IMA Group, will introduce their latest developments and highly market-oriented solutions for the packaging of tea, coffee, dairy and convenience food, chewing-gum and candies, cosmetics and toiletries.
Tea & Coffee Division will be showcasing the new high speed tea bag packaging machines for non heat-sealable double chamber filter bags with knotted string: the flexible and user-friendly C24-E, which guarantees ultra high-performance knot technology for tea bags, and the C24-T, the simple and compact solution offering the IMA top quality with an unbeatable value for money.
From Corazza, the new FF4, high speed dosing & wrapping machine for the packing of processed, cream or fresh cheese, designed and manufactured according to the highest technology criteria, will be in line with the SF100, cartoning machine for triangular portions of processed cheese in round boxes.
GIMA will present the FCW300, horizontal flat blanks cartoning machine for the packaging of chewing-gum and candies, which ensures lower procurement costs compared to a pre-glued carton and an extremely flexibility in terms of packaging shapes and product sizes.
As concern to the end of line solutions, on display from BFB Division, the new high speed case packer WA30, suitable to pack any kind of products into a shipper starting from flat-blank as well as pre-glued cases, intelligent adaptable for case packing requirements.
IMA Pharma
IMA Pharma, world leader in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical products thanks to a high technological profile and the ability to offer tailor-made solutions to satisfy the most sophisticated requests of the market, will introduce new solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
IMA Active division will show the new ADAPTA 200 capsule filler featuring an inimitable flexibility. Its dosing units can be easily removed and are reversible/interchangeable giving the possibility of a plug and play shift between different machine configurations and filling combinations. ADAPTA is designed to dose 3 products into the same capsule (up to 5 upon request), without affecting the production speed of 200,000 capsules/hour. ADAPTA has an indisputable efficiency as far as in-process control is concerned. Total production control can be achieved, even in case of products combination, for each single product dosage including possible self-adjustment of machine working parameters.
IMA Life division will present the latest breakthrough in Loading/Unloading system. Discover the innovative solutions of DA VINCI Loading/Unloading system on display by IMA Life, one of the few suppliers in the world that designs, manufactures and tests a full range of proven systems for fully automatic loading and unloading vials into industrial freeze dryers.
IMA Safe division will launch the new Swiftpack SP 2-4. Discover the new SP 2-4 multi channel electronic counter for tablets and capsules on display for the first time at Interpack 2014. With the experience gained of having over 80 SWIFTPHARM machines supplied throughout the world, IMA Safe Swiftpack has now developed the SP 2. Along with a smaller footprint and increased output, the counter and integrated conveyor are both controlled from a single HMI. Quick changeover components and the tabletop design, further improve the machine's ease of cleanability.
