A prestigious award for ACIMGA: Confindustria Brand Ambassador

ACIMGA was named as “brand ambassador” by Confindustria following the association’s record performance in 2018 in the category “High Impact” – one of the “Best performers” of the Confederation among over 200 competing associations. During a ceremony held this week at the Confindustria headquarters located on viale dell’Astronomia in Rome, ACIMGA Director Andrea Briganti was presented the prestigious award based on the weighted average of number of member companies and number of employees – identifying the association having both the highest number of members and the largest member companies.

Latest technology trends and exciting innovations for the converting industry

From 12 to 14 March 2019, the converting industry will meet for the 11th edition of its leading exhibition, ICE Europe, at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany. With a total of 11,500 m2 net exhibition space and 463 exhibitors from 25 countries, this year’s ICE Europe is bigger than ever. The most important exhibitor countries are Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the United States. The international exhibitors present their machinery, systems, accessories and services for the finishing and processing of flexible, web-based materials, such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens. Live demonstrations are a particular focus at many of the exhibitors’ stands as well as the exchange of expertise on prevailing industry trends, such as digitalisation, individualisation and sustainability. Four exhibitors who stand out due to their extraordinary achievements in these areas will be honoured with the ICE Awards 2019 during an official ceremony. For the first time, a special area will be dedicated to the future markets of special films and extrusion.

International exhibitors present innovative technologies and products for the corrugated and folding carton industry

From 12 – 14 March 2019, the international corrugated and folding carton industry will get together for the 4th edition of the specialised trade fair CCE International at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany. On a total of 5,000 m2 net exhibition space, 155 exhibitors from 23 countries will present raw materials, machinery, accessories and services for the production and conversion of corrugated and cartonboard, covering the entire production chain. Live demonstrations at the exhibitor stands will give insights into the range of technological developments and current innovations. The most important exhibitor countries are Italy, Germany, China, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

TRESU announces the appointment of Vernitech, of Montpont-en-Bresse, to represent TRESU Ancillary’s products for the corrugated market in France.

Vernitech has many years’ experience of the corrugated industry along with expertise in flexo printing and coatings. The company will focus on TRESU’s ink supply systems and sealed chamber doctor blades as well as other TRESU ancillary products for corrugated and wide-width flexo applications.
