Today's announcement builds upon a strong relationship between Outbrain and Le Monde, widely considered as France's leading newspaper and website. Le Monde was an early adopter of Outbrain's content recommendation and editorial decision-making solutions for its homepage, and the publisher will now use Outbrain exclusively across its portfolio of 8 sites, including: desktop, mobile, smartphone and tablet apps.

Le Monde Group includes titles such as Le Monde, Le Huffington Post, L'Obs, Télérama and Courrier international, and is known internationally for delivering high quality content to a highly desirable and engaged audience. "Outbrain's focus on user experience and its advanced technology offering were key to launching this partnership. They were able to provide tangible tools that meet the totality of our needs whether social, journalistic, brand focused or commercial. Additionally, they have agreed to dedicate their attention to our editorial needs and fully support the independence of our editorial content," commented Le Monde Group CEO, Louis Dreyfus.

Yaron Galai, Co-Founder and CEO of Outbrain said: "Le Monde was an early adopter of Outbrain's solution in France, which demonstrates its ability and ambition to innovate. Valuable partners with talented people, such as the Le Monde Group, allow us to continue on our path to transform the content marketing and digital publishing space and we are delighted to welcome them to our premium network of publishers."

Galai added: "This alliance sees us embark upon a significant roll-out of our full technology suite, but also affords us the opportunity to drive further advancements with the Le Monde Group. This will draw on our data and analytics capabilities and will see us innovate together."

Following seven years of innovation on behalf of its partners, Outbrain has broadened its technology into a multifaceted platform to drive a new era of digital publishing. This full stack software solution*[notes below] empowers an entire media organization to more effectively manage its online content and editorial programming experience.

Already widely adopted in Le Monde's newsroom, Outbrain will now roll out tools that support decision-making with predictive analytics and algorithmically generated cross-site content recommendations across the Le Monde Group's portfolio of 8 sites to support the work of its editorial teams. Le Monde Group will also leverage Outbrain's premium publisher network to drive incremental engaged audiences to its digital properties, and use data to improve personalization and engagement across desktop, mobile, smartphone and tablet apps.
