KnowledgeView was the golden sponsor

The rich participation of Egyptian media and the lively discussions over two days illustrated that Egyptian media is rapidly going back to much activities with optimism for big revival and expansion over the next few years.

Nearly 100 participants - mostly working journalists and editors in print, online, radio and TV platforms - were in attendance as well as publishers from Europe, South America and the head of the 'Editors' Global Network'.

Dr. Ali Al Assam, CEO of KnowledgeView, spoke at the event and presented latest advances in Publish live for digital publishing.

Publish live helps newsrooms to integrate publishing operations at ease, with a back-end content hub for multi-platform publishing and front-end NewsPad technology. The NewsPad offers one common core engine for website and/or iOS and Android apps: so a page click on mobile or tablet app is like a page click on website. This means significant increase in Pageview and corresponding increase in advertising opportunities to multi-platforms and better interaction with users.

"With over 60 leading media companies and 5000 journalists using our Publish live systems, KnowledgeView is more than equipped to support and meet the demands of the Egyptian Newsrooms. KnowledgeView has also established a leading position in mobile apps and website development based on NewsPad which includes latest node.js technology based on Elastic Search, Mongo DB and Responsive Design on the iPad, iPhone, Android tablet and Web-mobile platforms. With this approach we are able to provide high performance for mobile first applications that have great users' interactivity and mass customization features. "
