New York Magazine commits to the Cloud and NEWSCYCLE Solution's Advertising Software

New York Media manages digital, mobile and print operations through NEWSCYCLE's cloud computing platform

NEWSCYCLE Solutions announces that New York Media (nymag.com) is extending their cloud-hosting agreement for their NEWSCYCLE Advertising Solution. With this extended contract, New York Media will be able to support and manage day-to-day business operations including sales, production and finance for their digital, mobile and print publications.

New York Magazine, published by New York Media, LLC, has 1.8 million readers and digital properties reaching more than 18 million people per month.

With NEWSCYCLE Advertising (formerly Atex AdBase), New York Media eliminates disparate systems to use one platform to handle the high demands of their growing print, mobile and digital advertising business. Extending their cloud agreement allows them to further focus on increasing revenue rather than responding to the constant needs of on-premises hardware and support.

"NEWSCYCLE Advertising is one system we can use for our print and Web publishing channels," said Kit Taylor, chief operations officer, New York Media. "The system enables us to maintain a clear picture of our revenue pipeline with one look. We are self-sufficient—we know the inventories and what our customers are currently running. We have been able to create a shared CRM, order entry and billing with fewer key strokes."

NEWSCYCLE Advertising gives New York Media the ability to cross-sell without re-keying information into several different systems. All advertising revenue will flow through one system, resulting in a single point of order entry and a single invoice at the back end. The advertising implementation will integrate seamlessly third-party systems including New York Media's digital targeting and analytics software system, and enables an automatic reconciliation of digital ad performance, cutting back on manual intervention at time of billing.
