South African Label printing company Silverline Print purchase Edale 8 Colour FL3

Based in Gauteng South Africa, label convertors, Silverline Print have invested in an 8 colour Edale FL3 flexographic press with a 350mm web width and UV drying. The press also has an array of rail mounted options including a turnbar, inter-print lamination, cold foil and a delam/relam module and can be upgraded with additional options at any point in the future. Silverline, an existing Edale customer, offer label solutions to various industries including pharmaceutical, health and beauty and the food and beverage market.

Mergers over the years firstly with LTG and then with Bauer + Kunzi as well as the takeover by KBA in 2003 have led to today's Koenig & Bauer MetalPrint GmbH. The company is one of the growth drivers within the Koenig & Bauer Group. Managing Director Ralf Gumbel speaks in an interview about the reasons for its success, the company's strategic direction and digital printing processes in metal printing.

Downtown Toronto’s Only Full-Size Printshop Installs an RMGT 9 Series LED-UV Press

Laser Reproduction and it’s subsidiary Welter Studio, the only full-size and full-service printing company based in downtown Toronto, Ontario, just installed a NEW RMGT 9 Series sheetfed offset press. This new system will not only complement their existing 6 color 40” press but replaces their 12 year old RMGT7 series press. Manufactured by RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology and purchased through Canadian distributor KBR Graphics, the new press is equipped with automatic plate changing, smart make-ready technology and LED-UV instant curing.

Nilpeter to Debut Three Presses at Labelexpo Americas 2018

Nilpeter will showcase no less than three presses at Labelexpo Americas 2018; The All New FA, the PANORAMA Hybrid, and the new FB-350. MPS has developed new training courses exclusively for operators and engineers. They’re developed to improve flexo operating skills, share current developments in the printing industry, and increase press productivity. The 3-day programs for operators and 5-day programs for engineers will be held at the MPS Technology & Expertise Centre in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
