Canon announces partnership agreement with DIGIEVER to deliver quality and cost-effective security solutions

Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, today announces a new partnership with DIGIEVER, a leading provider of IP video surveillance solutions and world-class network video recorders (NVR). The collaboration will enable Canon to bring its range of high-quality network security cameras to a variety of new customers requiring quality and affordable surveillance solutions.

Canon's full range of network cameras will be supported by DIGIEVER's entire NVR offering, including DS-8200-RM Pro, DS-4200-RM Pro, DS-4200 Pro, DS-2100 Pro, DS-1100 Pro and DS-4000 and DS-2000 series. The new compatibility with DIGIEVER's NVR range will benefit end-users looking for a smaller, cost effective installation – especially indoor environments such as in the retail and education sectors.
DIGIEVER's NVR range will support Canon's ultra-compact Full HD S-series of network cameras and its moving object detection function. DIGIEVER is also compatible with Canon's VB-H series and offers inbuilt intelligent analytic functions, including moving object detection, abandoned object detection, removed object detection, camera tampering and passing detection.
"I'm extremely confident that the new partnership between DIGIEVER and Canon will satisfy various requirements in vertical markets," said Allen Tseng, Product Manager of DIGIEVER. "Our customers have high expectations of our solutions and we are dedicated to providing more effective surveillance solutions that are intuitive and easier to use. By partnering with Canon, we are able to offer our customers a quality combined solution that benefits from Canon's superior lens technology."
Julian Rutland, Planning and Strategy Director, Canon Europe, says, "Our core focus is to work closely with expert partners like DIGIEVER to enhance our security offering in the network security camera market. We are always looking for ways to increase the value we can provide to customers by working closely with technology partners, which is why we are delighted to complete the integration with DIGIEVER to extend our European reach and offer a simple, cost-effective security solution."
Canon uses its 70 years' experience as a high quality lens manufacturer to develop network cameras which deliver exceptional image quality and capture best in class images in all light conditions. Canon's range of network security cameras are simple to install and are supported by an extensive warranty programme.
