Konica Minolta named Industry Leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the second time in a row

For seven consecutive years Konica Minolta has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), one of the most prestigious global indices of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investment. And for the second year in a row, Konica Minolta achieved the highest score in the industry group “Technology Hardware & Equipment”, earning the title of “Industry Leader” in this segment. In the economic dimension, Konica Minolta was given the highest scores in its group in the categories of “Materiality”, “Risk & Crisis Management”, “Customer Relationship Management”, “Tax Strategy”, “Innovation Management”, and “Privacy Protection”.

Societal impacts have a visible role in UPM's EMAS reporting

UPM has today published the EMAS (EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) statements of its pulp and paper mills. The statements are more extensive than ever. Over the years, the company has reported on environmental impacts at its pulp and paper mills in Europe, China and Uruguay. Now the reports also provide a thorough analysis of the company's societal impact at a local level.
