PURESAFE WATER SYSTEMS, INC. (OTCBB: PSWS), a leading manufacturer of a unique patented mobile water filtration system, is proud to announce the appointment of Yves R. Michel, to the newly created position of Director of Global Sales & Marketing.
Yves will be responsible for, but not limited to, the development and execution of all sales, marketing and global distribution efforts, associated joint venture agreements, grant applications as well as regular interactions with the engineering and operations groups, all in an effort to have the PureSafe product line address the global challenges associated with clean water.
Yves joins PureSafe Water Systems with more than 30 years of experience both in the private and public sectors. Yves was the former Commissioner of Economic Development and Workforce Housing for the County of Suffolk, New York, which is the ninth largest County in the United States with 900 square miles and a population of 1.5 million people. Prior to his tenure as Commissioner, Yves was the Chief Executive Officer of the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency and Deputy Director of Economic Development for the Town of Brookhaven, which is also the largest town in the State of New York in terms of geography.
In the private sector, Yves was the Vice President of Sales & Distribution for REALVIZ Corporation and was responsible for both Direct and Indirect operations in The Americas, and prior, the Regional Sales Director and General Manager of Channel Sales for Discreet Logic Incorporated, a division of Autodesk. Yves was also the Global Corporate Business Manager for Silicon Graphics Incorporated and Senior Partnership Manager of Tandem Computers, a division of Hewlett-Packard where he was responsible for driving strategic business deals and partnerships across various industries with key customers, strategic innovation partners, OEMs, key accounts and third-party software vendors.
