Peter Vanacker, CEO of Treofan Group, is leaving the company of his own volition as of February 28, 2015. "The owners regret Mr Vanacker's decision. We would like to thank him for his successful strategic realignment of the Treofan Group, and we wish him all the best in his new professional challenge," comments Stefan Pfander, Chairman of the Board.
As of March 1, Dr. Walter Bickel will take on the role of CEO alongside his existing position as CFO. A highly qualified business expert who joined Treofan in February 2014, Bickel has made a name for himself in completely restructuring companies and implementing efficiency-boosting programs at SMEs and Groups.
Joining the management team on February 1 is Carolyn Wagner, as head of the Packaging business unit. After graduating in packaging engineering, Wagner began her career at German carton board manufacturer Weig-Karton. In 2001, she joined SCA Packaging, initially as a key account manager. After SCA Packaging was acquired by DS Smith in mid-2012, she became managing director for the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region.
