SII Printek introduces the RC1536 ink circulation printhead: the newest addition to the industrial inkjet printhead product range. This new printhead will be demonstrated live during the InPrint exhibition.
Featuring an extra wide print-width of 108mm, the printer cost is reduced by configuring print-bars with a small number of printheads.
The Ink Circulation Structure allows ink to circulate within the printhead at a high flow rate.
The constant ink stream behind the nozzles removes bubbles and impurities and prevents sedimentation of ink containing large pigments. Nozzles recover automatically and instantaneously, eliminating the need for routine nozzle cleaning and significantly reducing ink wastage.
The RC1536 has a high driving frequency up to 40kHz, achieves a drop volume up to 100 pL, ensuring high productivity which meets industry requirements.
Compatible with oil and UV based inks, a water-based ink version is currently under development.
The RC1536 is adaptable to a wide variety of applications such as ceramic tiles, cardboard, textile and many more.
