VariBlend Expands Global Sales Organization

VariBlend, a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of Dual Dispensers, has expanded its global sales network as the firm positions for new levels of profitable and sustainable growth.

According to Robert F. Brands, VariBlend President and CEO, the company's network of sales consultants now includes four distributors and at least 12 additional local sales representatives around the world including key markets including Asia and Japan, South America, Australia and in Europe, the UK, Germany, France, and Italy.

Business Development Partners (BDP), based in Saddlebrook, New Jersey - credited with the recent sale of the company's dual dispensing solutions to L'Oreal's Redken brand - will have a global coordinating role and remain focused on the North American market.

"Experience shows that even in our global economy, the nuances of regional sales efforts require a 'feet on the street' effort," Brands said. "That is, our further success will follow a path where we have local market specialists that are attuned to the needs, challenges and complexity of their region."

"Even today, successful sales efforts depend upon a personalized network - it is still very much a relationship driven industry," Brands said. "There is a comfort level that comes with dealing with consultants that share common nationality, language and business style."

In addition to VariBlend's new Feet on the Street initiative, the company's lab capabilities have been expanded in Greenville to support validation of concepts and guidance of the projects, from concept to launch. VariBlend has also started to explore alliances with companies experienced in advanced dual formulations.
