Beyond Dreams and Catastrophes: Turkey and its Neighborhood in the Next Decade and the Implications in the Regional Tissue Paper Industry

In Istanbul, from 25 - 26 September 2014 an important gathering of key influencers and decision makers from the tissue business will meet at the TISSUE WORLD ISTANBUL 2014 CONFERENCE.

With the theme The Tissue Industry at the Crossroads of a New Era the conference will be kicking off with important insight from top-level speakers from different angles:

Professor Soli Ozel will outline political and strategic developments of the regions that surround Turkey in historical perspective with his presentation: "After the Dreams and Catastrophes are over: Turkey and its Neighbourhood in the Next Decade".

The lecture will be followed by an in-depth analysis covering the macro-economic trends by A. Boltho, Emeritus Fellow, Magdalen College, University of Oxford, with a presentation entitled: "Economic Recovery in the US and Europe: Risks and Uncertainties in the Middle East and Russia and the Implications in the Regional Tissue Industry".

This comprehensive 2 days Conference will cover a wide variety of critical and newsworthy topics on management, markets, energy, sustainability, technology, productivity, operations and competitiveness in the regional Tissue Industry.

At Tissue World, when discussing with the outstanding panel of selected speakers on what they intended to bring to the table for the demanding audience, the answers have invariably been very similar: "we want to create a visible and concrete place where education, networking, exchange of experiences are vital and instrumental to strengthen the tissue community in the region. We want to contribute on different levels: by providing learning tips that enable the audience to improve their businesses with unique technical developments, by instilling curiosity on different regional evolutionary perspectives and takes, by laying the grounds for new contracts and ventures, and by enjoying the exchange of ideas during the cocktail reception!"
