The conference, in its 30th year, takes place from June 2 - 4, 2014 at the Fess Parker Resort Hotel in Santa Barbara, California. It has several new features to broaden appeal across the production-printing segment of the graphic communication industry. This year the conference is addressing toners AND inkjet. For the first time it includes OEMs and dealers, and sessions for service providers and content creators, and it is addressing the future of printing and imaging.
The keynote speaker is Robert Ross, Founder and CEO of Xanté, also representing Memjet.
Harvey Levenson, Director of the Graphic Communication Institute at Cal Poly, said, "While the conference continues to include presentations on toner manufacturing, this year's program also recognize that that OEMs have some of the most sophisticated research and development teams in digital production printing and technology development. Service providers from walk-in stores to medium and large printing companies using toner and inkjet systems will learn about production strategies. Content creators including publishers, advertising agencies, design studios, and marketing communication firms will learn about toner and inkjet applications for their products."
