Midland Paper Continues to "Break the Mold" with a Successful DSCOOP9

Midland Paper, Packaging + Supplies, one of North America's largest independent distributors of media for business communications, unveiled the broadest offering of Digital Media available to the industry this past week at DSCOOP9 in Orlando, FL March 6 - 8.

These included products for the following technologies:

. HP Indigo Sheetfed Technologies including an extensive offering of substrates for the new HP Indigo 10000 press (B2 Format press)

. HP's High Speed Continuous Inkjet including HP's T-Series of Color Inkjet Web Presses

. HP's Grand Format Printers including the Scitex Series of Large Format Commercial and Industrial Printing Technologies

"I was incredibly excited to see that our message is getting out there to the Graphic Arts community across the country.  I can't tell you how many folks came up to me and my team at the DSCOOP Conference and told us that we are creating something special and unique at Midland and to keep it up" said Mike Ratcliff, Midland's Vice President and General Manager for Specialty Paper and Film.  Midland has created an unrivaled team of experts in Digital that is truly helping to "Break the Mold" when it comes to media for the ever evolving digital equipment sector.  Rick Keber, Midland's Senior Product Manager for Specialty Paper and Film, has over 35 years of industry experience and brings a wealth of knowledge particularly in the area of printable film and plastics.  David Field, Midland's Senior Business Manager, Inkjet Technologies, is helping customers across the country address their most challenging inkjet media needs with new products and solid solutions.   "Let's be clear.  If you look down the road, there's very little value being a niche player in the Digital Media distribution market given the speed of change in the technology.  We plan on being at the forefront of these changes for our customers and being a broad-based provider of media solutions to not just meet, but exceed their expectations," said Ratcliff.
