SurePure Announces Commercial Deal with Major Natural Food Ingredient Producer

Wide Range of Industries Embody Innovative Use of SurePure's Photopurification Technology

SurePure, Inc. (OTCBB: SURP), a global leader in liquids photopurification, announced today that it has signed a sales agreement with a global leader in specialty plant-based natural ingredients, in which SurePure's proprietary photopurification technology will be utilised to purify the company's natural colourant products.

Within the last year, SurePure has announced several agreements with companies in the wine, dairy, and liquid egg industries in which each company has employed its technology to improve, purify and/or extend shelf life of their respective products.

-- On July 2013, the Indian Food Safety regulatory body (FSSAI) approved

the use of SurePure's technology as an alternative process to thermal

pasteurization for milk and other dairy products. This approval has

helped pave the way for the commercialization of SurePure's technology

throughout India's fluid milk market.

-- On August 2013, SurePure announced that it entered into an agreement to

purify Namaqua Wines, world-renowned for the production and export of

quality bag-in-box wines.

-- On November 2013, SurePure announced that it signed a multi-year royalty

commercial agreement with the first and largest liquid egg company IPAY

(Izmir Pastorize Yumurta) of Izmir, Turkey to improve shelf life and

brand quality of its egg products.

-- On December 2013, SurePure announced that Neil Patterson Wines (NPW)

launched a premium range of no sulphite added wines using SurePure's

photopurification technology.

To provide additional details on today's announcement, SurePure demonstrated the efficacy of its technology, which uses UV light energy as opposed to heat, was exemplified in trials that have provided a significant reduction (Log 4) in yeasts and moulds in Spirulina extract rich in phycocyanine without inducing any modification of product intrinsics, particularly the colouring capability.

Mr. Guy Kebble, Chief Executive Officer at SurePure, said, "We are very pleased with the results of our trial work with a significant manufacturer and marketer of natural ingredients for the food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetic industries and the positive response it has had on their products using our technology. This is yet another novel and highly beneficial application of the SurePure photosterilization technology."
