Cloud Solution's Impact on Efficiency, Reduction in Paper Usage in Sign Manufacturing Industry Garners Company Recognition at Annual Event
KeyedIn® Solutions, a SaaS-based software company providing sign industry-specific software solutions, today announced that KeyedIn Manufacturing – Sign Edition won the "Best Green Product" award based on attendee voting at the ISA Sign Expo. The event took place April 9-11, 2015 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
KeyedIn was one of eleven finalists and the only software entrant in this year's contest. Once the final vote was tallied, the award was accepted by Johnathan Warren, Marketing Manager, at KeyedIn Solutions.
Speaking on paper inefficiency in the sign industry, Bren Hartinger, founder of Wisconsin-based Graphic House Inc. said: "One job might encompass 50-60 different types of signs. That means 30-40 pages of printouts that touch four to five different departments. One change—and something always changes—means you're running that paperwork out all over again." Hartinger continued by adding: "One 180-sign job meant three hours of copying, collating and distributing prints. It had to change." Since implementing KeyedIn Manufacturing – Sign Edition software on their shop floor, Graphic House Inc. immediately reduced their paper usage by "at least 80%."
