Enterprise Digital Asset Management Company ADAM Software Signs Strategic Alliance with Sitecore

Combining leading expertise in Customer Experience Management (CXM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) helps marketers drive consistent customer experiences in real time on any channel

ADAM Software, a leading Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Content Management (PCM) software provider, today announced that it has entered into a strategic sales and technology partnership with Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management.

Content and personalization are at the center of modern marketing. Consumers' insatiable demand for relevant, rich media has earned content marketing a prominent position on the enterprise CMO's strategic agenda. To stay relevant and drive business impact, marketers need tools to more quickly produce and deliver quality content that attracts engagement across multiple channels. The integration of content production with experience delivery empowers brands to manage the ongoing content creation process and quickly deliver it at the right time, to the right person, in the right context. With Sitecore already offering integrations with different DAM-systems, the agreement with ADAM Software serves the high-end market for content professionals with a need for complex rich media management across all channels, regions and phases of the customer journey.

"In the past, DAM-systems were limited in their use for high end production systems like video or graphic arts based technical complexity," said Pieter Casneuf, CEO at ADAM Software. "Today, digital media practices require the same tools to manage the production complexities for rich media content, where brand experience-based content blends with product experience-based content. Files blend with records and assets include not only imagery, but also full product content. ADAM has the unique capability to deliver high-end content management to digital media professionals, including product content management for the product marketing professionals. Partnering with Sitecore will help our customers deliver consistent customer experiences to their customers in turn. We're looking forward to working together to achieve ever better ways to add value to our joint customers."

Analyst research firms have indicated in the past that the marketing technology landscape is consolidating and the boundaries between DAM, content management and commerce are fading. For product vendors like ADAM, this intensifies the relationships with other marketing technology players, especially those leading in the enterprise segment.

"Digital asset management is an area of increased focus for our customers," said Darren Guarnaccia, CSO at Sitecore. "For marketers, content is king. As they look to deliver consistent, compelling experiences across all online and offline channels, they need to use approved, compelling product content and assets. ADAM empowers marketers to produce better content faster by providing them with a streamlined command of their production process. When combined with Sitecore's world-class experience delivery capabilities, ADAM helps marketers to expand their reach both internally and externally."

As new digital channels, like wearables, emerge, the complexity of managing integrated content across a growing number of digital touch points increases. Dedicated DAM-systems offer content professionals the means to manage a "master of truth," providing a centralized solution that puts an end to the chaos of managing brand, product and channel complexity that comes with multi-lingual, cross-departmental deployments.

More and more enterprise customers are installing Sitecore and ADAM to build robust, enterprise-scale platforms for digital media management. Joint customers include global brand leaders Lego, Pandora and Procter & Gamble.

"We are pleased to hear about the partnership between Sitecore and ADAM Software. Pandora uses both companies' solutions and will benefit from this alliance and integration of the solutions," said Bo Pedersen, Business Technology Manager at Pandora.
