The lines are dedicated to silicone coating for release liners and film barrier coating applications respectively.

Rising at a steady 2.9% year-on-year, Smithers Pira forecasts the global market will be worth $980 billion by 2022[1]. If you drill down further, growth of the flexible packaging sector is even more pronounced; with a predicted annual growth rate of 4.3%, by 2022 it should claim a healthy $283 billion share of the near trillion-dollar market[2].

The Estonian-based printing concern Printall AS is set to intensify its collaboration with Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC), the Dutch specialist in measurement and control systems for the printing industry. The Koenig & Bauer Compacta heatset printing press in its Tallinn plant is to be equipped with a new automation system supplied by QIPC. “This new system from QIPC will be quicker and more reliable than our current automation system.”
