A new kind of process is set to bring about a lasting reduction in solar cell production costs in the future – and will make Germany competitive again in this segment. The role ContiTech is playing in this development will be demonstrated by the company at this year's LOPEC, the trade show for printed electronics. JinkoSolar to supply 37.2MW PV Solar Panels to EDP Renovaveis for Lone Valley Solar Park in the U.S.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), a global leader in the solar PV industry has announced that it will supply 38.7 MW of PV Modules to EDP Renovaveis, a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the global renewable energy sector, for two solar parks in San Bernadino County, California.

JinkoSolar Signs Supply Agreement for 21.09MW with China Southern Power Grid

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. Unirac partners with Cobalt Power Systems to supply 397.5 kW Roof Mount (RM), second largest solar roof installation in Palo Alto

Unirac, Inc., a Hilti Group Company and the leading provider of high quality, competitive PV mounting solutions in North America, was selected by Cobalt Power Systems Inc. to provide a 397.5 kW Roof Mount (RM) mounting system recently installed at the Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC) campus, in Palo Alto, CA.

The installation, developed by THiNKnrg, is Palo Alto's second largest solar roof system and encompasses 1,840 solar panels on 12 buildings of the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life (TKCJL). Combined, the solar arrays will generate enough energy to offset approximately 9,500 tons of CO2 over the next 20 years; which is equivalent to removing 1,814 passenger cars from the road.

The Alliance for Solar Choice Applauds Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and Secretary of Energy and Environment Michael Teague for Leading on Distributed Generation

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has signed an Executive Order to promote the growth of distributed solar and wind in Oklahoma.  Governor Fallin issued the Order while signing Senate Bill 1456 into law.  The Order states that "all executive entities shall support all forms of energy, including both traditional fossil fuels and renewable energy sources like wind and solar power, as outlined and mandated by the Oklahoma First Energy Plan. This plan promotes wind and solar power as important forms of clean energy which have a significant place in Oklahoma power generation."

The Order goes on to affirm that SB 1456 "does not mandate tariffs or other increases for distributed generation customers." 

SunPower Solar Power Systems Planned for Five Pajaro Valley Unified School District Campuses
