The First Safe and Convenient 3D Pen

Polyes is the first 3D printing pen with blue light and real inks. Rapid Light-curing Technology turns your imagination into reality. (PRNewsFoto/Future Make Technology LLC)If you like the idea of creating something from nothing, but don't want any of the annoyances that exist with current 3D printing pens, then Polyes Q1 will be your weapon of choice. Polyes Q1 enables you to draw freely in the air without danger.

Drawing your ideas into a three-dimensional form seemed crazy years ago. The introduction of the 3Doodler changed all that, and plenty of different versions have popped up since then. The only problem with these pens is that they use smelly plastic and dangerously hot elements - just a terrible user experience overall.

Polyes Q1 is a brand new 3D printing pen with light-sensitive photopolymer instead of the traditional ABS/PLA material. When the photopolymer is exposed to the light coming from the pen tip, it solidifies immediately, which makes the drawing process a lot safer and fun.

There are no volatile compounds and nasty smell, which is carcinogenic when inhaled. The pesky power cord has been replaced by an internal battery to make the Polyes Q1 cordless and portable; an integrated button in the pen makes it easy to switch between the drawing modes. A speed control button is also embedded for people to adjust the rate of outflow. Last but not least, it is very easy to replace the ink cartridge within seconds - a simple push of the button, twist and replace.

Polyes Q1 is not only a sleek 3D printing pen, but also a combination of cutting-edge innovation and magnificent engineering. Since the campaign was launched on Kickstarter, Polyes Q1 has got an upsurge on its first day and reached the funding goal of $50,000 within 24 hours. A pledge of $69 will get backers an early bird unit with one pen and three ink cartridges on Kickstarter now.
