Adria Media Group and Newsweek Announce Partnership Deal

Newsweek LLC, the iconic newsweekly publication, continues to expand globally and has entered into its seventh exclusive international licensing deal with Adria Media Group (AMG).

AMG is the largest media house in the Western Balkans and announced today that it has entered into a partnership deal with IBT Media, the US-based international news company and parent to Newsweek LLC. Newsweek is a historically strong licensing brand and provides its readers with a powerful combination of news, culture and ideas. The publication is a symbol of quality journalism and is a regular source of information for political and business decision makers.

As a result of this partnership, AMG will launch and publish Newsweek Serbia. Etienne Uzac, Co-Founder, CEO of IBT Media states, "We are glad to partner with Adria on the launch of Newsweek Serbia and thereby extend Newsweek's brand footprint in Europe."

AMG is thrilled and honored to welcome Newsweek Srbija into its growing portfolio. "AMG is always looking for new challenges in the media sphere," said Aleksandar Rodic, CEO of AMG. "I am very pleased and honored to announce the signing of the long-term partnership deal with IBT Media and the launch of Newsweek Serbia – a magazine that offers award-winning reporting and commentary from some of the top writers in the world. This is just one more step forward into making AMG a real media leader in the Balkans, recognized by its innovative approach and introduction of the best media practices."
