Diebold Names Skariah To Lead Services Strategy In EMEA

Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) today announced Soji Skariah has been appointed vice president, services, for the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) division. An experienced technology and services professional, Skariah will work to grow Diebold's services footprint in EMEA and drive innovation, efficiency and consistency across the region and organization.

Skariah's career spans nearly 20 years in sales and operations roles focused on software and services. He has a proven track record of delivering enterprise solutions across multiple platforms, industries and geographies using best-in-class global delivery strategies. He joins Diebold from Hewlett-Packard (HP) where he most recently served as the head of applications and business services for the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa. Prior to that, he held leadership roles with global technology and consulting companies including Corpus Software and Tata Consulting Services.

Skariah received a bachelor's of engineering degree in computer science from Mumbai (Bombay) University in India and an executive master's degree in business administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
