It has the lowest waste in the market - less than 10 meters - and offers the lowest press downtime and set-up time of just 1 minute.

The new revolutionary M5 Excellence™ press exhibited at Labelexpo has excited much interest in all the visitors from all over the world, who were looking out for all the innovations that this great press collects. In that regard, it is important to point out that, an M5 Excellence™ Digital Flexo™ 4.0, 430mm, 8 colors UV Flexo, ExcelPrint™ for automated exchange of printing cylinders, ExcelDie™ for closed loop in-line quality control, has already been sold to the great Australian company Print Media Group.

Eddie Gulmen from Gulmen Engineering , the Australian Cerfied GIDUE Distributor, explained : "The GIDUE M5 Excellence™ is what Gidue's engineers have achieved through a mechanical and digital combination. It offers the kind of versatility that Australian printers were looking for targeting the short ot medium work that is continously growing."

Adriano Melis ,GIDUE Sales Area Manager, commented : "The M5 is an unlimited substrate press, which transforms flexo printing and die-cutting into a digital process. The main and most important feature of the M5 Excellence™ at Brussels, which attracted a lot of interest, was that the actual machine is designed to target the short-run, medium and long run work. In the area of short-run, a lot of customers are purchasing Premium Level digital printing solution which ends up doing short-run work. With this new model, Gidue is offering converters a machine that can print any short run work at a low cost, with full automation. It removes human error on pressures, right up to the die and through to the finished product. And,when required, you can combine it with the medium to long runs.""

Another press that has generated a lot of interest during Labelexpop was the digitally assisted M3, where the Gidue Digital Automation. The M3 Digital Flexo™ , that was exhibited in the Package Printing Workshop organised by Tarsus, delivers total digital flexibility and is ideal for packaging, PS Labels and special substrates.

Cristina Toffolo, VP Marketing of GIDUE concluded "The great result of a full automation process, is that the operator can concentrate more on quality, rather than on the machine adjustments. There is still older technologies out there with fixed configurations, but our message to converters is that this is the most profittable and cost-effective way to go."
