Mohawk Releases Third Issues of Mohawk Maker Quarterly and Craft Cooperative Publications

Publications enhanced with augmented reality technology; printed on historic Strathmore

Mohawk, North America's largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, announces the release of the third issues of the Mohawk Maker Quarterly and Mohawk Craft Cooperative publications.

The publications are designed to celebrate an emerging maker culture and are enhanced with additional content made possible through Mohawk Live, Mohawk's augmented reality app.

The third issues of the Mohawk Craft Cooperative and the Mohawk Maker Quarterly focus on the topic of details, specifically recognizing the principle that detail is often found at the heart of craftsmanship.

To underscore that message and to further showcase the tactile beauty of fine paper, the third issues are printed on Mohawk Strathmore, widely regarded as the finest writing, letterhead and social stationery paper made today.

Strathmore has set the standard for design and innovation since 1895.  This diverse assortment including cotton papers, colors and finishes, honors tradition while striking new ground with contemporary colors and surface technologies, adding an element of luxury to all printed communications.

Strathmore papers are selected and used by designers and brands who seek the very best, including Conde Nast, Georgia Tech, Yale University, Legg Mason, White & Case, among others.

The third issue of the Mohawk Maker Quarterly is printed on Mohawk Strathmore Pure Cotton paper.  Strathmore Pure Cotton is an ultra-premium 100% cotton paper made from premium cotton pulps.  Its crisp, starched, wove finish projects an image of elegance while demonstrating the ultimate in craftsmanship and detail.

Strathmore Pure Cotton paper and the Mohawk Maker Quarterly both proudly display the prestigious Strathmore watermark, another hallmark of this luxurious, historic and distinctive brand.

Strathmore Pure Cotton papers are manufactured carbon neutral, made with windpower, available in four shades of white, two basis weights, and feature a distinctive watermark.  Matching Strathmore Pure Cotton wove envelopes are available at mohawkconnects.com.

Strathmore Writing and Pure Cotton papers are also manufactured acid-free and meet American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for archival performance.
