Fulfilling a hunger in inkjet technology: LEIBINGER JET3up

Marking specialist from Tuttlingen, Germany is presenting a world-first innovation at the Anuga FoodTec 2015

A new year, a new continuous inkjet printer! Marking specialist Paul LEIBINGER will be presenting its broad range of industrial inkjet printers at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne (March 24 to 27, 2015) and showing the world its latest attraction—the JET3up—for the first time. In addition, with its versatile LKS5 camera verification system, the company is offering comprehensive solutions for the area of inspecting and monitoring products.

2015 will be an exciting year not only for the food industry, but also for Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG. The German manufacturer of industrial marking and camera verification systems will be presenting its latest continuous inkjet printer—the JET3up—to visitors from the food and beverage industry at the world's leading trade fair, Anuga FoodTec (Hall 7.1, Booth E39). Equipped with many new functions, an even better interface design and state-of-the-art inkjet technology, this printer will replace the LEIBINGER JET3, which has been very successful on the market for years.

Like all other LEIBINGER inkjet printers, the JET3up is equipped with the automated Sealtronic nozzle seal, which prevents the ink in the printhead from drying out even during a long downtime. This means the device is ready to use at any time, in a matter of seconds. Use of the latest technology achieves even better print quality and even more economical production. To satisfy the requirements of a rough and wet production environment in the production of food and beverages, the marking specialist also provides the JET3up pro with a stable stainless steel housing of protection class IP65.

Paul LEIBINGER guarantees the highest quality and reliability for its small-character inkjet printers through in-house development and production. These mark all conceivable surfaces and materials with fast-drying inks without making contact and during ongoing production; e. g., with best before dates, LOT numbers or barcodes. Regardless of whether you are printing on glass, cardboard/paper, metal, plastic or directly on food, Paul LEIBINGER has longtime expertise for implementing a wide variety of customer requirements. Special FDA-compliant and MEK-free inks are available for marking foodstuffs.

In combination with the flexible LEIBINGER camera verification system LKS5, which monitors variable and fixed production data using high-resolution cameras, Paul LEIBINGER is the complete provider for seamless, high-quality and efficient product marking.
