SATO's CL4NX printer is setting new high standard

SATO, a global leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions, has sold more than 750 units of its revolutionary new CL4NX printer worldwide in the first month since launch, 363 of which are in Europe. Companies including Unipres, Nissan Manufacturing UK's major TIER 1 supplier, and Fujitsu TEN in Spain are among the first to order the innovative printer, which is setting a new high standard for barcode printing and enabling customers to improve efficiencies and streamline processes.

"As business increasingly globalises, customers want a universal printer that they can install across their sites worldwide and our CL4NX printer has been designed with this in mind," says Neil Batchelor, European Sales Director of SATO. "The market has responded extremely well to the new CL4NX, especially in the industrial, manufacturing and logistics market".

The CL4NX is a truly universal printer engineered for the ultimate operator experience. It is simple to operate with a full colour interactive LCD display available in 47 languages and features videos which provide information on operation and troubleshooting.

The 'plug and play' printer is exceptionally easy to install and set up, thus enabling users to optimise their processes. It can handle a wide range of media including different sized labels, and features a wide head opening for easy media installation, with no ribbon core needed.

The printer can emulate competitive products and its 100MB user accessible memory allows formats, large graphics and custom fonts to be stored and gives high speed processing and fast throughput so customers can increase productivity.

The CL4NX printer has an ingenious space-saving design which gives 53% width saving and 27% height reduction compared with SATO's previous model. As a result, it takes up very little space and is a perfect 'fit and forget' solution for printing barcodes and supporting stock and order management systems.

"At SATO we are dedicated to making it as easy as possible for our customers to use our equipment," continues Neil. "The development of the CL4NX is yet another example of how we continue to expand our compatibility to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
