The EasySert project at Posten Meddelande is a success story. In 2012, the first EasySert line was up and running in Alvesta as a pilot installation. One year later, two identically configured lines were installed at the newly constructed distribution centre in Hallsberg.
The third phase is now underway: between September 2014 and March 2015, lines 4 and 5 will start operations in a new building in Rosersberg. The investment in buildings as well as modern Ferag production technology is part of Posten Meddelande's redefined location policy. Since January 2014, Posten Meddelande has focused letter post and direct-mail product processing at a total of eight distribution centres. When production is up and running in Rosersberg in the spring of 2015, the number of locations will have been reduced down to seven. Optimizing production is ultimately a response to increased competition from electronic media. According to project manager Désirée Roxberger, printed advertising is still a comparatively simple, inexpensive and effective way to be sure of reaching the target audience – advantages that advertising customers of Posten Meddelande also appreciate.
