Honorable representatives from industry and politics already confirmed their participation at the official opening ceremony on 2 December at 11 am. Amongst them:

"agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa is an ideal forum for international producers and traders in the food and agro sector to establish business contacts. And it is the perfect venue to share knowledge and experiences on the potentials and challenges of the West African and Ghanaian agricultural sector."

H.E. Frédéric Clavier, Ambassador of France to Ghana:

During his visit at last year's edition of agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa, the French Ambassador H.E. Frédéric Clavier underlined the importance of building links between French and Ghanaian companies in all sectors of agriculture through training and technology transfer.

Mr Patrick Martens, Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana:

"Modern and professional processing and packaging is crucial in this process. This applies for agricultural exports as well as for meeting the demands of Ghana's growing middle class. International companies providing know-how and modern agricultural and processing technology can make a great contribution at achieving these goals. agrofood and plastprintpack West Africa are therefore the ideal platforms to support the regional industries' needs."

Ms Nella Hengstler, Austrian Economic Counsellor for Ghana and ECOWAS:

At agrofood & plastprintpack 2013, Ms Hengstler stated: "With an export value of more than one billion Euros, the Austrian plastic machinery sector is one of the flagships of our mechanical engineering industry, which is one of the country's most important lines of industry.  While Austria's core markets are mostly in Europe and North America, our companies have recognized the importance of emerging markets and specifically West Africa."

Mr Martin März, CEO fairtrade:

"We are delighted to welcome a very honorable participation from eleven countries at agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa 2014, namely from Austria, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Italy, Ivory Coast, Korea, Lebanon, Switzerland and Turkey.
