Landaal Packaging Systems Announces Groundbreaking for $5 Million Addition, New Manufacturing Jobs, in Bay City, Michigan

Landaal Family Expansion Marks 50 Years Of Investment, Commitment To Bay City Community And Customer Service Excellence

Landaal Packaging Systems is proud to announce the groundbreaking for a major expansion of its Delta Containers Division in Bay City, Michigan.

A 2:00 p.m. event is planned for Wednesday, July 23, 2014 to break ground, and also to celebrate the 50-year partnership between Landaal Packaging and the City of Bay City, Michigan.

"We're excited to renew our commitment to the Bay City area with this expansion in Bay City. The additional manufacturing jobs that accompany this expansion will contribute to the community for years to come," says Landaal Packaging Systems President, Steve Landaal.

Construction is expected to start immediately on the 66,000 square foot building addition that will house manufacturing, warehousing, and office operations. The facility is expected to be fully-operational by May 1, 2015.

The groundbreaking event will take place at Landaal Packaging's Delta Containers Division, 1400 Eddy St., in Bay City, Michigan.

Landaal Packaging Systems is an industry leader in corrugated, point of purchase displays, contract packaging, sustainable products and fulfillment services.

Landaal Packaging also operates a 316,000-square-foot manufacturing and packaging operation in Burton, MI, and an Innovation Design Center in the Rowe Building at 540 S. Saginaw St., in downtown Flint, MI.
