Geneva-based Pouly Tradition has purchased a Rose Forgrove Merlin HSE flowrapper to pack sandwiches and pastries. Pouly Tradition, part of the group Aimé Pouly, is a leader of traditional bakery products in the French speaking region of Switzerland, and the inventor of the popular 'Paillasse' bread.
Rémy Bruttin, Technical Manager at Pouly Tradition, noted the superior performance and changeover of the Merlin HSE. "This packaging machine has given us great flexibility, which is very important given the diversity of our products. We started production in record time because HayssenSandiacre customized the machine's programming to our needs ahead of time. Our operators were delighted to have identical menus to those of our previous bagger. Thanks to the Merlin's great reliability, our production rates are even better now."
