The Biggest Business Opportunities PlastIndia 2015 Opens its Doors

PlastIndia Foundation Today formally announced the next edition of the PlastIndia 2015 (PI 2015) Exhibition from 5-10 February 2015 to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with the rousing tagline of 'Expanding Horizons'. PlastIndia Foundation, the apex body for plastics in India and the federation of the most significant plastics industry bodies from the Indian sub-continent.

Plastindia 2015, which is among the top three international platforms for the Plastics Industry, was formally launched by Mr.  Avinash Joshi, IAS, Joint Secretary - Petrochemicals Division, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers - Government of India in the presence of the Guest of Honor, Mr. Nirmal Thakkar First President of PlastIndia Foundation and Managing Director of TIPCO Industries, the dignitaries on the dais were Mr. Subhash Kadakia, President Plastindia Foundation; Mr.  J.R. Shah - Chairman, National Executive Council, Mr. L. K. Singh, Co-Chairman - National Executive Council, Mr.  Rajeev Chitalia - Vice President and Mr. Rajiv Raval, Honorable Treasurer.

Mr. Vijay Merchant hosted the official launch function, where he addressed and assured that this time PlastIndia 2015 will be even bigger and better. Mr. Nirmal Thakkar along with all the dignitaries on the Dias lighted the lamp. Mr. Rajiv Raval welcomed all the distinguished guest and dignitaries. Mr. Rajeev Chitalia honored the chief guest and Guest of Honor with a memento.

In its 9th edition, Plastindia 2015 will be the biggest one till date and is expected to consolidate its position as one of the largest pure Plastics exhibitions on the global plastics scene. Expected to bring together about 150,000 business visitors and 2000 top class exhibitors from across 40 nations at a showcase extending across 125,000 sq. mts, this will truly be a staggering platform and opportunity for Indian plastics industry. Not just the main exhibition itself, there will be a stunning bouquet of associated offerings that make Plastindia exhibitions a 'must not miss' affair for global plastics honchos.

Describing PI 2015 as the largest single business opportunity of 2015, Mr. Subhash Kadakia, President Plastindia Foundation said that the exhibition would significantly expand the business horizons of all those who participate, regardless of their origin and business size, due to the sheer volume of opportunity that it would showcase and the quantum of learning's that would be available to one and all. All in all, PI 2015 promises opportunities for growth and success to anyone associated with or willing to associate with the wonderful world of plastics.

Mr. Avinash Joshi unveiled the logo of PlastIndia 2015 and said that "the Industry has unlimited potential to be a world leader if it continues to believe in itself as it has done so far." Joshi also stated that "Plastindia 2015 would bring in a lot of opportunity to the various stakeholders as it will be among the biggest in the world,"

Mr. Sunil Jain of Rajoo Engineers delivered the message on behalf of Mr. Mahendra Patel, Chairman of the National Advisory Board for PlastIndia; we continue to work hard for PlastIndia for the last 25 years and will work to make it a grand success.

Elaborating this view, Mr. J. R. Shah, Chairman National Executive Council, Plastindia Foundation, said, Plastindia 2015 is expected to be the biggest at the best. He also bring to the light about the concurrent events that PI 2015, will also host the 4th PROPLAST Exhibition, which shows off the ever enhancing global standard capabilities of India's plastics processing fraternity and is a magnet for OEMs and retail chains. Also being held concurrently would be the 9th International Conference on Plastics, the 24th ASEAN Plastics Forum, the 6th Plasticon Awards, the Wintech Technology Transfer initiative as well as numerous B2B meets on investment, finance, knowledge sharing etc.

Mr. Shah further added "With the main objective of Plastindia Foundation being the promotion, development and growth of the Indian Plastics Industry in India, we have initiated steps to be the driving force for the MSME's by facilitation, counseling and advising them on the processes and steps to avail of the Technology Upgradation Fund offered by the Government of India." He continued by stating, "This will be an eye-opener to many and emphasize India's position as the world's sourcing hub for plastics finished products."

Mr. Nirmal Thakkar mesmerized the hall with his catchy speech he described how plastic industry faced hurdles in the late 80's in India but today Plastics Industry has changed, and Priority has changed. He further added the captains of the plastic have got unlimited opportunity to run industry today. He also stated the young generation is also showing lots of interest and doing new innovations for the industry.

Finally the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Lalit Singh, He informed that, the booking has opened today and we have received large number of confirmed bookings today itself.
