Solo Cup Europe, now part of Dart Container, has announced that it is once again sponsoring the prestigious Foodservice Operator of the Year Award at the 2014 FPA (Foodservice Packaging Association) Awards.
The Awards will be held March 6 2014 at The Grand Hotel Brighton and first stage nominations have closed. FPA members will shortly be asked to vote on the five short listed candidates to decide the winner of this prestigious award.
The Award is judged by members who nominate their top three operators measured against a set of criteria reflecting partnership, innovation and customer service. The top five nominations then go into a final round of member judging. Last year's winner was Costa Coffee and previous winners have included High Street chain Greggs and Yum! Brands.
Marketing Manager Rebecca Turner said: "The FPA Foodservice Operator Award will be presented to the caterer, take-away food restaurant, coffee shop, sandwich shop, deli, bakery, or instore cafe considered by FPA members to have made the most significant impact on foodservice packaging in the last 12 months. Sponsoring this highly valued Award gives Solo Cup Europe the opportunity to highlight best practice and innovation amongst the operators who are the users of our products."
