Effective July 1, 2014, Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. ("Momentive Specialty Chemicals") has recognized Archway Sales, LLC ("Archway"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexeo Solutions, LLC ("Nexeo"), as an authorized distributor to represent its epoxy resin, curing agent and modifier products.
Archway, as a Nexeo subsidiary, will represent Momentive Specialty Chemicals, throughout the United States, primarily into the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) markets.
In April 2014, Nexeo Solutions, a leader in chemical distribution, announced the successful acquisition of Archway Sales. The acquisition reflects Nexeo Solutions' continued focus and commitment to expanding its presence in specialty chemicals. The combined capability of Nexeo Solutions and Archway Sales creates the largest comprehensive distributor in the CASE industry.
Momentive Specialty Chemicals' leading technology in epoxy applications combined with Archway's experienced sales team and customer base create new growth opportunities for both companies.
