Ringdale Releases FollowMe® Embedded for OKI

Ringdale, a leading provider of secure document output management solutions, releases the FollowMe® Embedded for OKI client. This fully integrated FollowMe solution delivers enhanced usability and empowers organizations to maximize cost and efficiency savings.

Available for all OKI OpenPlatform enabled multi-function printers (MFPs), the FollowMe Embedded client provides an intuitive user interface which enables secure print job management, user enrolment and cost code assignment directly from the MFP control panel.

Combined with FollowMe's flexible print roaming capability, organizations have unrivalled flexibility to reduce printing costs, protect valuable data and optimize the efficiency of the printing environment.

FollowMe's powerful tracking and reporting engine provides an accurate picture on costs and activity, on a per user, device or department basis. Organizations are then able to make fact-based decisions to optimize the printing environment or to better manage costs. The built-in billing capability enables businesses to recover printing costs from clients, where activity is captured and assigned to pre-defined billing codes for undisputable cost allocation.

This release follows Ringdale's commitment to increase usability and adaptability within diverse printing environments by providing organizations with the widest choice of FollowMe Embedded client integrations.

"With seamless access to all the tools for secure, cost effective office printing, our customers are able to maximize cost savings, increase efficiency and leverage their technology investments," said Jan Bollmann, Vice President of Engineering, Ringdale.

"The FollowMe Embedded client is integrated directly into the native functionality of the OKI OpenPlatform enabled MFPs, enabling complete control of print, copy, scan and fax straight from the enabled MFP's front panel".
